To provide a high frequency line-waveguide converter exhibiting high transmission efficiency between a high frequency line and a waveguide.
The high frequency line-waveguide converter comprises a dielectric layer 2, a high frequency line 1 formed on the upper surface 2a of the dielectric layer 2, a slot 5 formed on the upper surface 2a of the dielectric layer 2, a second ground conductor layer 8 having an opening 11 opposing the slot 5, and a shield conductor 7 for connecting a first ground conductor layer 3 with the second ground conductor layer 8 electrically. The connection region of the shield conductor 7 in the second ground conductor layer 8 projects into the opening 11 of the second ground conductor layer 8.
