Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily change the characteristic impedance of the line by arranging a conductor connecting to an upper end of an L-shaped grounded conductor of the high frequency line above its center conductor.
CONSTITUTION: A grounded conductor 2 is formed on a board 1. Then a ground conductor 3 with a height t1 acting as a lateral wall and a dielectric film 4 whose thickness is (h) are formed on the conductor 2. Furthermore, the conductors 2, 3 act as an L-shaped grounded conductor. Then a strip shaped center conductor 5 whose width is (w) and whose thickness is (t) is formed on the film 4 at a position apart from the conductor 3 by a gap (d). A dielectric film 6 is formed up to an upper end of the conductor 3 on the film 4 and the center conductor 5 and a grounded conductor 7 is formed on the conductor 3 and the film 6. The width of the conductor 7 on the film 6 is set to be (u). Even when the positions h, d of the center conductor 5 with respect to the ground conductors 2, 3 and the line width (w) are set constant, the characteristic impedance Zo is easily adjusted by varying the width (u) of the grounded conductor 7.
