Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a high insulator composed of an ethylene copolymer, which contains excellent high voltage characteristics, workability, or the like, and a high voltage electric power cable using it.
CONSTITUTION: A high insulator compound of an ethylene copolymer containing a dibasic acid anhydride group of 0.002wt.% or more and less than 0.05wt.% which is composed of a low density polyethylene (A) provided by a high pressure radical polymerization method and a copolymer (B), between essentially an ethylene and a dibasic acid anhydride of 0.05-7wt.%, which is provided by a high pressure radical polymerization method, can be provided and is used as an insulator.
