Title:
HIGH-NI AND-CR ALLOY FOR CLADDING MATERIAL FOR CLAD STEEL PLATE EXCELLENT IN SOUR RESISTANCE AND TOUGHNESS AT LOW TEMPERATURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH05230590
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To produce a high-Ni and -Cr alloy for cladding material suitable for use in a clad steel sheet excellent in toughness at low temp. as well as in sour resistance by preparing a steel having a specific composition where respective contents of Ni, Cr, Mo, Cu, and Ti are specified.

CONSTITUTION: The high-Ni and -Cr alloy having a composition consisting of, by weight, ≤0.03% C, 0.02-0.5% Si, 0.02-0.5% Mn, ≤0.02% P, ≤0.0050& S, 30-35% Ni, 25-30% Cr, 3-6% Mo, 0.5-1.5% Cu, ≤0.05% Al, 0.5-2% Ti, 0.0010-0.0060% Ca, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities is prepared. By this method, the high-Ni and -Cr alloy for cladding material suitable for producing a clad steel plate excellent in toughness at low temp. as well as in sour resistance while obviating the necessity of heat treatment can be obtained.
