To provide high performance concrete which has satisfactory operability, has compressive strength of ≥70 N/mm2, and has low-shrinkage.
The high performance concrete consists of a hardened body of a blend containing cement containing ≥30 wt.% 2CaO-SiO2, and whose decrease in weight at 20 to 500°C by thermogravimetric measurement is 0.7 to 2.5 wt.%, and an admixture consisting of a mixed pulverized material of a clinker composition in which the main mineral consists of 3CaO-SiO2-2CaO- SiO2-CaO-interstitial material, 3CaO-SiO2-CaO-interstitial material, 2CaO-SiO2- CaO-interstitial material, or CaO-interstitial material, and which contains 50 to 92 wt.% CaO crystals and gypsum, or consisting of a mixed pulverized material of the above clinker composition, quicklime and gypsum, a water-reducing agent, a fine aggregate, a coarse aggregate, and water, and in which the total content of the cement and the admixture is 500 to 700 kg/m3, and the ratio of the water/(the cement + the admixture) is 25 to 35 wt.%, and the slump flow value of the blend is 50 to 80 cm. The amount of the admixture to be blended is preferably controlled in 1 to 60 kg/m3.
