Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve maneuvering performance such as turning property at high speed together with braking/driving performance simultaneously with improvement of durability of a bead part by specifying the height of a side wall part, and setting the tensile elastic modulus of a side wall rubber forming the side wall part in a specified range.
SOLUTION: In this pneumatic radial tire of aspect ratio under 60% provided with a tread part 2, a pair of side wall parts 3 continued to this, and a pair of bead parts 4 contined to them, the side wall part 3 is made into the height extended up to 50-85% of the sectional height of tire from the bead part 4 in a no load state, when the tire is mounted to an applied rim and set into the prescribed air pressure. A side wall rubber forming the side wall part 3 is formed so that tensile elastic modulus (M100) at 100% elongation is 70-110kgf/ cm2. The JIS spring A hardness of a tread rubber is 50-70 degrees, and the value of M100 is favorable to be 5-30kgf/cm2.
