Title:
HIGH-PERFORMANCE RELUCTANCE MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH11318061
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To increase output by inserting a non-magnetic material between the layers of the directional electromagnetic steel plate of a core for constituting a rotor or a movable element or providing a gap and at the same time setting the magnetic flux density of the directional electromagnetic steel plate to a specific value or more.

A rotor 1 is constituted of the lamination body of the disk of a directional electromagnetic steel plate 8. More specifically, a single non-magnetic material (aluminum plate) 9 with the same shape and plate thickness is inserted for each three or two laminated plates of a directional electromagnetic steel plate 8 with at least 1.4 T usage magnetic flux density, or a gap is provided between the laminated plates. Also, a stator 3 is provided with gear parts 4, 4'-6', and 6' and is subjected to coil winding 7. When current is allowed to flow to the coil winding 7 and an angle θbetween a straight line for connecting the gear parts 4 and 4' and the direction of easy magnetization of the directional electromagnetic steel plate 8 of the rotor 1 is equal to or less than 54 degrees, a rotary force is generated in a direction where 6 approaches zero, thus increasing the usage magnetic flux density of the directional electromagnetic steel plate of the core and adding the rotary force and thrust force by amount due to a magnetic anisotropy energy as compared with a conventional type and hence increasing output.
