To provide a high-pressure fuel-injection pipe for a common-rail system with a fuel-cooling function in which a fuel can directly be cooled by a cooling medium in the portion of a high-pressure fuel injection pipe which is disposed between a pump and a common rail and between the common rail and an injector as a fuel-cooling means for a diesel engine employing an accumulator fuel injection system using the common rail.
The high-pressure fuel injection pipe is disposed between the pump for the common rail system of the diesel engine and the common rail and/or between the common rail and the injector. A resin-made outer pipe 2 having adaptors 3 at both ends is provided on a portion of the injection pipe in at least pipe axial direction to form a space part 4 between the outer pipe and the high-pressure fuel injection pipe as a heat transfer space. The fuel in the high-pressure injection pipe is cooled by making the cooling medium to flow in the heat transfer space through the adaptors.
