Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a high pressure fuel pump capable of improving the sealing performance and attaining higher fuel injection pressure.
CONSTITUTION: A cylinder body 24 is connected to a pump housing 26, and plural pump rooms 32, 32, 32 discharge passages 34, and intake passages 31 are formed in the cylinder body 24. Plungers 33 are inserted in the respective pump rooms 32, and a cam shaft 25 is arranged in the pump housing 26 to drive the plungers 33. Further, discharge check valves 67 are arranged in the discharge passages 34, and the intake check valves are arranged in the intake passages 31.
