Abstract:
To provide a high-pressure fuel supply pump which is improved in the assembling performance of a relief valve mechanism.SOLUTION: A high-pressure fuel supply pump comprises a relief valve mechanism for relieving fuel at a downstream side of a discharge valve mechanism, and the relief valve mechanism has a relief valve 302 for opening and closing a relief passage, a relief spring 304 for energizing the relief valve 302, and a relief valve holder 303 for holding the relief valve 302. A length dimension L303+ in an axial direction of an assembly formed of the relief valve holder 303 and the relief spring 304 having a natural length is set longer than a length dimension L305 in the axial direction of an accommodation part for accommodating a relief seat part, the relief valve, the relief spring and the relief valve holder.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
