PURPOSE: To perform sterilization treatment which is simple and completely automated if circumstances require by supporting the cover of a high pressure chamber and the bottom part of a low pressure chamber to the inside surface of a frame when creating required operating pressure.
CONSTITUTION: The upper end part of a high pressure chamber 12 is closed by a sealing cover 16, and the cover 16 can be stored in or removed from through an automatic processing unit. A low pressure chamber 2 and the high pressure chamber 12 are surrounded by a movable frame 18 comprising a number of frame plates 17 having inside cutout parts matched with the outside profiles of the high pressure chamber 12 and low pressure chamber 2. In the case that pressure is created in the pressure chamber and intends to expand to the outside, a lower bottom pressure plate 19 along the frame 18 can abut on the bottom part of the low pressure chamber 12, and an upper cover plate 20 can abut on the cover 16. All elements are mutually fastened by the frame 18 connected to the bottom pressure plate 19 and upper cover plate 20 or the frame plates 17, and as a result, although axial force is not absorbed any more by the wall part of the pressure chamber, it is substantially absorbed by the frame plates 17.
