Title:
HIGH PRESSURE HOSE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH109467
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To shorten a joint part, and moreover make it compatible with the securing of sealing ability and durability.

In the joint 14 of a high pressure hose 10, a socket 18 is caulking formed at the first and the second caulked spot 24, 26 to diminish the wall thickness of the hose at each caulked spot for compressing and holding the hose 12 in a sandwiching manner. In the front and rear areas of the first caulked spot 24, since the hose 12 is radially and longitudinally enclosed by the socket 18 and a lock spot 20, the radial and longitudinal deformations of the hose are restrained, the their deformation degrees become extremely small. Thus since the first caulked spot 24 is therefore difficult to cause damage even in the case of a high change rate, the change rate higher than usual one, namely 46%, is given to the first caulked part 24 in order to secure high sealing ability, and the change rate of the second caulked spot 26 is set up to be somewhat lower, namely 40%, in order to avoid the damage of the hose.
