To provide a high-pressure jet-type soil improvement method which achieves desired strength by surely and early hardening a consolidated body created from a predetermined depth to a ground surface, in soil improvement work directly below and around an existing structure.
In this high-pressure jet-type soil improvement method for the ground below and around the existing structure, a part of the consolidated body before hardening in the ground is collected by a sampler 10; the amount of added hardening accelerator is determined by a simple mixing test which is performed on a construction site on the basis of the consolidated body before the hardening, collected by the sampler 10; a pipe rod 5 is inserted to a predetermined depth in the ground; and the amount of added hardening accelerator, which is determined by the simple mixing test, is added by being jetted to the consolidated body before the hardening, which is created in the ground from the predetermined depth to the ground surface, from the pipe rod 5, so that the consolidated body, which is created in the ground from the predetermined depth in the ground to the ground surface, can be hardened early.
