Abstract:

PURPOSE: To store old data by inhibiting data from being transferred from a data buffer to a storage area according to a check result when a cluster at a data transfer source is disconnected owing to a fault.

CONSTITUTION: When double writing is started, write data from a cluster is stored in the data buffer(DB) 20 of the port part of each system storage device(SSU). The DB20 has storage capacity corresponding to the maximum transfer length of data transferred from the cluster. A data check circuit(DC) 16 checks cluster write data to check whether or not there is an error. A data buffer control circuit(BC) 19 outputs the data stored in the DB20 to the storage part of the SSU when none of the data has an error. Further, the BC19 inhibits the data of the DB20 from being outputted when an error is detected by the checking of the DC16 to prevent indeterminate data from being written in the storage part of the SSU.
