Abstract:
To provide a high-resistance surface pressure bilayer bearing material having a porous sintered metal layer suppressed in a compression deformation in a pressure-receiving direction and a bearing for an internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: In a high-resistance surface pressure bilayer bearing material which is constituted of a back metal layer 110 composed of a metal plate, a porous sintered metal layer 120 composed of a large number of spherical metal grains which are sintered on a surface of the back metal layer 110, and a resin layer 130 laminated on a surface of the porous sintered metal layer 120 and facing a shaft member S, and compressed in a state that the resin layer 130 is impregnated on the surface of the porous sintered metal layer 120, a width of a crystal grain of the metal plate in a lateral direction orthogonal to the pressure-receiving direction is wider than a width of the crystal grain of the metal plate in the pressure-receiving direction, a width of the special metal grain in the lateral direction is wider than a width of the spherical metal grain in the pressure-receiving direction, an aspect ratio of the crystal grain of the metal plate is equal to or higher than 1.7, and equal to or lower than 3.5, an aspect ratio of the spherical metal grain is equal to or higher than 1.4, and equal to or lower than 2.3, the hardness of the back layer 110 is equal to or higher than 170 HV, and the hardness of the porous sintered metal layer is equal to or higher than 150 HV.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
