Title:
HIGH SENSITIVITY MEASURING METHOD OF WEAKLY BASIC ION BY ION EXCLUSION SEPARATION-CONDUCTIVITY INCREASE SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3924617
Kind Code:
B
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring method of weakly basic ions, which enhances a detector response.
SOLUTION: Strongly basic ions and weakly basic ions (ammonium or hydrazine ions or the like) are separated by ion exclusion interaction of a hydroxide ion type weakly basic anion-exchange resin column by using water as eluate, and then a sample is finally transformed into a strong acid having a limiting molar conductivity by ion exchange interaction of a strongly acidic ion type strongly basic anion-exchange resin column and a hydrogen ion type strongly acidic cation-exchange resin column, to thereby attain prominent enhancement of the detector response. Hereby, this high sensitivity measuring system of non(low)-pollution weakly basic ion species has the enhanced detection sensitivity such as 6.1 times of ammonium ions, 26.8 times of hydrazine, and 41.3 times of triethanolamine, and shows a wide-range linearity of a calibration curve, compared with a conventional method.
