Abstract:
PURPOSE: To simplify a shape, and enable a desired combination by defining a recess part with one side surface of a pillar body formed as an opening part, housing a driving source and a movable body displaceable under the operation in the recess part, and providing a movable body support means and an opening part covering member.
CONSTITUTION: The actuator is provided with a frame 12, which defines a recess part with one side surface of a linearly extending pillar body formed as an opening part 24, and also defines lengthwise groove parts 30a-30f having a T shape cross section on which other structural members can be installed at its respective outside surfaces. A motor 14, a movable body 16 displaceable along the recess part under the driving operation and a timing belt 42 to transmit a driving force are housed in the recess part, and support shafts 36a and 36b used when the movable body displaces and a cover member arranged additionally on the opening part 24 are provided. In the above-mentioned constitution, the opening part 24 can be formed in a flat shape, and the other structural members or an actuator and so on can be connected therein, and a structural body can be assembled in a desired shape.
