Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the dielectric strength between poles in the opening of a vacuum valve by providing a decelerating device consisting of an elastic part and a locking part for engagingly locking the elastic part, fixing either one of the elastic part and the locking part, mounting the other on the movable part of a linking mechanism, and temporarily engagingly locking the elastic part in the course of the opening operation of the vacuum valve.
SOLUTION: When a decelerating bar 55 which is decelerated by a converting lever 6 is moved upwards, the spherical body of a ball plunger once fits in the dent of the decelerating bar 55, but it then slips out from the dent of the decelerating lever 55 by an electromagnetic repelling device 70 and creeps up to the decelerating bar 55 to temporarily complete the opening. When the energy of the electromagnetic repelling device 70 is consumed, a wiping spring 27 works to lower the decelerating lever 55, and the spherical body of the ball plunger fits in the dent of the decelerating lever 55 in a state in which the electromagnetic repelling device does not work. Therefore, the decelerating lever 55 is fixed to a fixed frame 47 side and is not to lowered further. The dielectric strength between poles in opening is enhanced, and a higher rated voltage can be interrupted.
