PURPOSE: To record and copy signals at a high speed by providing a tape recording means which is capable of speed switching synchronous with the speed increasing ratio of a record reproducing means and a phonoequalizer which compensates the reproduced signal in response to its speed.
CONSTITUTION: In a normal copy mode switches 22 and 23 are set at the side of a fixed contact bar (a). The output of a record player 11 is supplied to an input terminal 17 of an audio amplifier 12 through the switch 22 and an output terminal 15. In a high-speed copy mode a record disk of 33+1/3rpm is revolved by the player 11 with 45rpm, and a tape recorder 13 is changed to a high-speed mode. That is, the switches 22 and 23 are changed toward a fixed contact bar (b). Then the number of revolutions of a capstan motor 32 is changed in response to the switching of characteristics of a record amplifier 26. In this case, the signal is applied to a magnetic head 27 from the amplifier 26 through a phonoequalizer 25 incorporated into the recorder 13. Then the signal is recorded on a magnetic tape 34 by the head 27.
