PURPOSE: To enable execution of high speed tracking, by a method wherein two processing devices execute tracking processing of a work simultaneously with access processing on management information on a work.
CONSTITUTION: Tracking of a work present on an inbound and outbound line is performed by a tracking processing device 200. Reading of management information of an object work, on which tracking is applied, from a disk device 211 or access processing, e.g., storage is performed by a work information processing device 221 simultaneously with a tracking processing device 200 according to a demand from the tracking processing device 200. As a result, the load of the tracking processing device 200 is reduced, and high speed tracking is practicable on the whole. Thereby, even if the number of works on which tracking is applied is increased and the frequency of access on management information on a work is increased, tracking can be conduced at a high speed.
