PURPOSE: To obtain a temperature sensor which performs temperature detection with fast response by laminating the temperature sensor on the external surface of a cylindrical base.
CONSTITUTION: The sensor 1 consists of the base body 2, a thermistor 3, an electrode 4, and an insulating waterproof resin coat film layer 5. The base body 2 is formed of bottomed cylindrical ceramic, etc., having one end blocked in a hemispherical shape and an opening at the other end. Further, the thermistor (temperature sensor) 3 is formed by sintering Mo-Co-Ni-Al oxide paste laminated along the external surface of the base body 2 at specific temperatures. The electrode 4 is formed by laminating Ag paste from the external surface of the opening end to the internal surface along the opening end of the base body 2 in contact with the thermistor 3 and fixing it in air at specific temperatures. Then, insulating waterproof resin made of epoxy hard plastic, etc., is laminated and dried covering parts of the thermistor 3 and electrode 4 facing the external surface of the base body 2 to form a coat film layer, thus obtaining the sensor 1.
