Abstract:

To provide a high-speed rotary application method for a liquid coating agent containing at least one kind of pigment and/or at least one kind of extender onto a substrate.

This application method comprises the following steps (a), (b) and (c), wherein at least one component used in the step (a) contains at least one kind of pigment and/or at least one kind of extender. The process (a) is for directly supplying at least two liquid components in a specified quantity ratio determining a qualitative and quantitative composition of the coating agent to at least one high-speed rotary atomizer or a premix prepared from the at least two liquid components to the at least one high-speed rotary atomizer. The process (b) is for high-speed rotary atomizing the components directly supplied in the step (a) or high-speed rotary atomizing their premix supplied to the at least one high-speed rotary atomizer in the process (a). The process (c) is for applying the material atomized in the step (b) onto the substrate.
