Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an age hardening type aluminum base alloy of Al-Cu-Mg series and Al-Zn-Cu-Mg series in which mechanical properties are furthermore increased.
CONSTITUTION: The objective high strength age hardening type aluminum base alloy is expressed by the following compositional formulae: (Al-Cu- Mg)100-x-yAxNiy and Y and lanthanoids as well as 0<x≤3 atomic % and 0<y≤3 atomic % are satisfied).
