Abstract:

To provide a high-strength bolt frictional joining structure and a high-strength bolt frictional joining method, capable of improving sliding yield strength by inexpensively strengthening agglutination resistance, without requiring special surface treatment processing.

Pressure contact washers 5 and 6 having a pair of joining object members 1 and 2 and insertion holes 5c and 6c formed in a smaller diameter than bolt holes 1b, 2b, 3a and 4a of doubling plates 3 and 4 and in a polygonal shape, are interposed between the joining object members 1 and 2 and the doubling plates 3 and 4 so that the insertion holes 5c and 6c communicate with the bolt holes 1b, 2b, 3a, and 4a. Bearing pressure P is applied so that the pressure contact washers 5 and 6 are brought into pressure contact with the pair of joining object members 1 and 2 and the doubling plates 3 and 4, and a rotary member 11 is inserted into and engaged with the insertion holes 5c and 6c. The pressure contact washers 5 and 6 are rotated by rotating the rotary member 11, and an oxide film of the pressure contact washers 5 and 6, the joining object members 1 and 2 and the doubling plates 3 and 4 is shaven off, and the pair of the joining object members 1 and 2, the doubling plates 3 and 4 and the pressure contact washers 5 and 6 are fastened by a high-strength bolt 7.
