Abstract:
To provide a cast iron material for hydraulic pump shaft, suitable for a compact, lightweight hydraulic pump, having high strength, and excellent in scuffing resistance and wear resistance, and a shaft for hydraulic pump.
This cast iron has a composition consisting of, by weight, 3.0-3.6% Total D, 1.5-2.5% Si, 0.5-1.0% Mn, ≤0.30% P, ≤0.13% S, 2.0-4.0% Ni, 0.3-1.0% Cr, 0.1-0.8% Mo, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities and also has ≥350MPa tensile strength. A chiller is inserted into a position corresponding to the cam part sliding surface of a mold to chill the cam part sliding surface and regulate hardness to ≥50HRC, by which scuffing resistance and wear resistance is improved.
