Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastic nonwoven fabric produced by a melt blow process or a spun bond process.SOLUTION: Disclosed is an elastic nonwoven fabric which is produced by a melt blow process or a spun bond process. The fabric is produced from a thermoplastic polyurethane polymer mixed with a crosslinking agent from which an elastic nonwoven fabric having high strength can be produced. The crosslinking agent is added to the polymer melt before the polymer melt passes through a die for forming individual fibers. Also disclosed is a method for processing a nonwoven fabric.
