Title:
HIGH STRENGTH POLYVINYL CHLORIDE PASTE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3047153
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a high strength polyvinyl chloride paste excellent in impact resistance and capable of preventing the generation of cracks, etc., at the binding part of wire harness, even when an automotive door is repeatedly opened or closed, by compounding PVC, a plasticizer, a stabilizer and a polysulfone.
CONSTITUTION: This paste comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. of PVC (preferably having an average degree of polymerization of 1100-1300), (B) a 200-300 pts.wt. of a plasticizer (e.g. epoxidated linseed oil), (C) 30-50 pts.wt. of a polysulfone (usually having an average degree of polymerization of 1700-3700), and (D) 1-10 pts.wt. of a stabilizer (e.g. mercapto methyl tin). Preferably, 100 pts.wt. of the component A, 220-270 pts.wt. of the component B, 40-50 pts.wt. of the component C and 3-7 pts.wt. of the component D are compounded. When the components A to D are kneaded to produce the paste, a motor having a blade at the tip is preferably used.
