Title:
HIGH-TEMPERATURE ATMOSPHERE FURNACE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH03194892
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enrich the mechanical strength of a furnace so as to simplify the construction thereof by fixing a heating body to flange members via supporting members while making each of the supporting members of porous graphite or porous carbon.

CONSTITUTION: A high-temperature atmosphere furnace is constructed by arranging paired flange members 10, 11 at the upper and lower parts of the furnace, and then arranging a heating body 20, a heat insulator 21 surrounding the heating body 20, a surrounding body 22 surrounding the heat insulator 21 and a high-frequency coil 23 provided on the periphery of the surrounding body 22 between these flange members 10, 11 in order of inner side. The heating body 20 is then fixed to the flange members 10, 11 via supporting members 28, 29 while each of the supporting members 28, 29 is made of porous graphite or porous carbon. Because a porous material increases in porosity, it has not only small heat conductivity but also a certain measure of strength. The porous material can thus be used to support the high-temperature heating body 20, and also the construction of the furnace can be simplified.
