Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high temperature gas duct capable of accurately preventing thermal damage (occurrence of cracks) to a duct unit and available as a high temperature gas duct used in a molten iron converter-refining pretreatment apparatus, an electric furnace, or the like for guiding high temperature gas.SOLUTION: In a unit 11A constituting a high temperature gas duct 1, a drainage portion 20 (a catch basin 21, a drain pipe 22) is provided in a lower end portion, an inner edge of the lower end portion (edge near an inner plate 12) is formed into a curved portion 30, and the curved portion 30 of the inner edge is formed by curving a plate closing end portions of the inner plate 12 and an outer plate 13 and is welded to the end portion of the inner plate 18 and that of the outer plate 19 (in a welded portion 31 near the inner plate 18 and a welded portion 32 near the outer plate 19), respectively.
