To provide a high temperature sealed container which can secure heat resistance of an elastic sealing member along with excellent sealability.

In this container, cooling tubes 16 and 17 are installed respectively in a container body 1 and door bodies 4 and 5 facing each other surrounding openings 2 and the like. A circular groove for housing an elastic seal member 22 is formed in a cooling tube 16 on the side of the container body 1. A circular thread 23 is welded on the cooling tube 17 on the side of the door body 4 or the like facing the circular groove. An engaging member 24 at the tip of a rod 13 of a cylinder 14 mounted on two outer walls of the container body 1 is engaged with a bar-shaped member 25 mounted on both sides of the door body 4 or the like and the door body 4 or the like is pulled to the side of the container body 1 by the cylinder 14 to press the circular thread 23 onto the elastic seal member 22 thereby sealing the container.
