To provide a high-temperature superconductive pancake coil of which the superconducting characteristic never degrades even when manufactured using a high-temperature superconductive wire having a high-temperature superconductive layer easy to peel off, and to provide a high-temperature superconductive coil using the same.
This high-temperature superconductive pancake coil 1 uses a tape-like high-temperature superconductive wire 20 composed by sequentially forming an intermediate layer 22 and an oxide superconductive layer 23 on a surface of a metal substrate 21. In the pancake coil 1 formed into a pancake-like shape having a space penetrating an axial center by winding the high-temperature superconductive wire, at least a part of winding side face parts 12A, 12B constituting a pair of axial end faces is covered with a resin layer 30.
