Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a biologically active enzyme which can simply produce a large amount of enzyme and/or provide a host cell compatible with production of degrading enzyme.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a method and composition for high throughput screening of a photosynthetic organism genetically modified for plasmic state. The present invention provides a method of producing one or more proteins including a biomass degrading enzyme in a plant. In addition, it also provides a method of producing a pathway for a biomass degrading enzyme of an algal cell, particularly chloroplast. A single enzyme or plural enzymes can be produced by the disclosed method. The method disclosed in the present specification allows production of biofuels including ethanol.
