To provide a high voltage apparatus system of a railway vehicle which enables high voltage cables to efficiently connect with a joint device in a limited space such as a space on a roof of the railway vehicle.
A high voltage apparatus system of a railway vehicle 100 is mounted on a railway vehicle 10 and includes: multiple high voltage apparatuses 30, 40 which high voltage power is supplied from an overhead wire; multiple high voltage cables 70 connecting the high voltage apparatuses 30, 40 with each other; and a joint device 51 with which the high voltage cables are connected. Each high voltage cable has a base cylinder part covering the high voltage cable at a tip thereof and a cable connector part including a fitted cylinder part extending from the base cylinder part in a direction substantially perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the high voltage cable. The joint device has joint connector parts, each of which is fitted into the fitted cylinder part of the cable connector part and connects with the high voltage cable.
