Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the stability of output voltage of the high voltage generating circuit by a method wherein the rectifying direction of a Cookcroft circuit and the output voltage of an oscillator circuit during a transistor therein is ON, are made to coincide. CONSTITUTION:The oscillator to obtain an output voltage from an output winding 5 by controlling a switching element 6 being applied with a source voltage through an input winding 3 to ON and OFF by a driving winding 4, and Cockcroft circuit constituted of diodes 13-15 and capacitors 16-18 to multiply and rectify the output voltage of the oscillator, are provided. The rectifying direction of the Cockcroft circuit and the polarity of the output voltage during the period when the switching element 6 of the oscillator circuit is ON, is made as to coincide. Accordingly although the output voltage of no-load time becomes to small as compared with the customary value, but when the load becomes to large more than some grade, the output voltage becomes to high in opposition. In other words, the output impedance of the high voltage rectyfying circuit is made to be mitigated, and the variation of output voltage at no-load time is reduced.
