Abstract:

To provide a high voltage generating device stably generating the specified high voltage for applying to an electron beam source having a plurality of electron emission elements, provide its driving method and an image forming device.

In this high voltage generating circuit, voltage detected with a detecting resistance 4, showing emission current Ie flowing through a line of a secondary side winding of a transformer 1 from a high voltage-resistance capacitor 2 is amplified with an operation amplifier 5. A high voltage control circuit 6 controls the on period of a high voltage driving circuit 8 according to a level of input voltage from the operation amplifier 5. The high voltage generating circuit 6 holds anode voltage Va in the specified voltage.
