Abstract:
To increase the power efficiency under a wide range of load conditions.SOLUTION: A regenerative prevention circuit 7 including a diode Da and a capacitor Ca is provided on the side of a high frequency inverter 2 serving as a DC/AC conversion circuit of a smoothing capacitor Cdc between a DC power supply 1 and a DC terminal of the high frequency inverter 2. The regenerative prevention circuit 7 boosts the DC voltage input to the high frequency inverter 2 to a voltage higher than the voltage of the DC power supply. As a result, the regenerative time during which the energy of a resonance capacitor Cp2 is regenerated to the DC power supply 1 is reduced, such that the duty factor of the gate control signals VG1 to VG4 can be designed to be large, and the efficiency of the high voltage generator 100 can be improved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
