The invention relates to a high voltage interconnection system (47) for electrically interconnecting two objects that are movable relative to each other, in particular coupled train cars (1, 3). The invention further relates to an assembly (5), comprising at least two train cars (1, 3) which are coupled with each other. In order to provide a compact and versatile system (47) and assembly (5) for electrically interconnecting two objects that are movable relative to each other, it is intended, according to the invention, that the interconnection system (47) comprises at least one flexible cable (25), at least one connection arrangement (19) for electrically contacting one end (21, 23) of the at least one flexible cable (25), and at least one cable holder arrangement (37), the at least one cable holder arrangement (37) being adapted for holding the at least one flexible cable (25) in a slidable manner. For the assembly (5) it is intended that at least one train car (1, 3) is provided with at least one connection arrangement (19) for electrically contacting one end (21, 23) of at least one flexible cable (25), the at least one connection arrangement (19) comprising at least one connection element (27) being fixated to the corresponding train car (1, 3), and wherein at least one flexible cable (25) is electrically connected to the at least one connection arrangement (19) and extends at least towards the other train car (1, 3).
