Abstract:

PURPOSE: To generate sine waves provided with the deflection of zero-to-peak equal to a power supply voltage by supplying power by a battery for supplying a specified voltage for a digital pad.
CONSTITUTION: A device is constituted of a single integrated circuit(IC). The IC receives the power from the battery for which respective voltages are 1.25V and the entire voltage is 3.75V. In the IC, the current of about 3mA≤4mA is generated from the battery. The IC is provided with amplifiers A1 and A2 and they generate sine wave signals for which deflection is performed from zero to the supply voltage from peak to peak. However, a synthetic voltage added to the primary side of a transformer 18 is 7.5V which is the double of the respective sine waves and is the double of the supply voltage. By changing the turn ratio of the transformer 18 and the gain of the amplifiers A1 and A2, etc., an output voltage on the secondary side of the transformer 18, that is a sine wave voltage whose amplitude exceeds 30V at the tip of this stylus 2, is generated.
