To provide a wipe with high water-absorption and high drying property, which has piles with high water-absorption and drying property and can be effectively used for wiping in wet state or dry state, or for swabbing of the cleaned objects after water or wet cleaning or the like.

A large number of piles P approximately shaped in pillars are arranged on a ground fabric S to form wiping parts W. Stems of each piles P are combined with the ground fabric S. Each pile P has an approximately pillar shape, filaments F which are 0.3 denier and nonabsorbent are closely-arranged radially about the axis line of the pile P and closely-arranged in the axis direction, outer peripheral surface of the approximately pillar-shaped pile P is formed of tip end parts of each filaments F. Distal end parts Pa of the piles P form an approximately convex surface with the tip ends of the filaments F which make up the piles P and are radially arranged.
