Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically re-active a job registered in a computer in which failure occurs by another computer without doubly activating it when failure occurs in one of computers.
SOLUTION: A shared disk device 4 is an outside storage device having a failure detecting means 41 and a connection switching means 42, and the connection is operated for plural computers. The connection switching means 42 always accepts only connection from one computer. The failure detecting means 41 detects the failure of a computer 2 which processes batch, and switches the connection of the connection switching means 42. The shared disk device 4 normally records job information 31-2 and job executed result 32-2 of the computer 2, and the connection is switched to the computer 1 at the time of the occurrence of the failure, and power is re-supplied to the computer 1 by using a job re-power supply means group 20 so that re-execution can be automatically attained.
