Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a highly accurate feeding device of tool which can control a submicron level or a nano order level of feeding operation.
CONSTITUTION: In a highly accurate tool feeding device which furnishes a rotary tool 31; a tool feed means 18 to feed the rotary tool 31 in the direction of rotating center axis; a tool position detecting means 37 to detect the position of the rotary tool 31; and a control means 42 to control the tool feed means 18 depending on the signal from the tool position detecting means 37; the scale wire of the tool position detecting means 37 is positioned on the rotation center axis C of the rotary tool 31.
