Abstract:
To provide a pumpable, highly active surfactant paste suitably processed into a detergent granule and its manufacturing method.
The detergent paste composition comprises (a) 50-94 wt.% of an anionic surfactant, (b) 1-30 wt.% of an alkyl ethoxy sulfate salt and (c) 5-35 wt.% of water, where (a) is selected from (1) a 10-20C alkyl sulfate, (2) a mixture of a 10-18C alkyl sulfate with a 10-16C alkylbenzenesulfonate, or a mixture of (1) with (2), and contains a 14-16C olefin or paraffinsulfonate, a 8-24C fatty acid salt or a 12-20C alkyl methyl ester sulfonate, or a mixture thereof. The paste has a viscosity higher than 10 Pas at 70°C as measured at a shear rate of 25 s-1.
