Abstract:
To provide an aqueous dithiocarbamate solution ≥50wt.% in concentration.
If this aqueous solution is an aqueous potassium dithiocarbamate solution, 50-80wt.% or higher in concentration can be accomplished. It is more preferable that the dithiocarbamate is either dimethyldithiocarbamate, diethyldithiocarbamate, dipropyldithiocarbamate or dibutyldithiocarbamate. These highly concentrated aqueous dithiocarbamate solutions can be userfully applied as heavy metal fixing agents.
