Title:
HIGHLY DAMPING MATERIAL COMPOSITION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3664210
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a highly damping material composition developing a high tan δ, having slight change with time, useful as a sound barrier of an acoustic room, etc.
SOLUTION: An acrylic base polymer containing a basic polar side chain or the like is mixed with a hindered amine-based compound having 500-2,000 molecular weight as a damping providing agent. In this case, the hindered amine- based compound is preferably a condensate of 1,2,3,4-butanetetracarboxylic acid, 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidinol and β,β,β',β'-tetramethyl-3,9-(2,4,8,10- tetraoxaspiro[5,5]undecane)diethanol. The obtained stably develops a high tan δby excellent entanglement of the base polymer with the damping supplying agent, has a slight reduction rate in tan δ by change with time and damping performances in a temperature range around a room temperature environment.
