To provide ultraviolet light-curable ink, capable of being used for the production of a printed matter having a highly decorative property by changing its color tone depending upon a visual angle on appreciating, and also adaptable to a high speed printing by curing at a high speed with the ultraviolet light.
This highly decorative ultraviolet-curable ink contains a visual angle-dependent color-changing pigment obtained by coating a metal oxide on alumina flakes and/or by coating the metal oxide on silica flakes in the ultraviolet light-curable ink containing at least any one of a polymerizable monomer or polymerizable oligomer and a photo-polymerization initiator. The ultraviolet light-curable ink containing the visual angle-dependent color-changing pigment does not exhibit the reduction of the curing speed on irradiating ultraviolet light, and can secure the original advantages of the ultraviolet light-curable ink such that the printing can be performed at a high speed, since the evaporation of a solvent is not required and the time and energy required for the curing is extremely small.
