To provide a method for highly efficiently manufacturing a pipe with high dimensional accuracy and excellent surface quality, which can manufacture the pipe having a low deviation in the outside diameter and so on.
The invented manufacturing method includes a pushing process in which the pipe 4 with a plug 1 inserted into therein is pushed into and passed through the hole of a die 2 by means of a pipe pusher 3. A first liquid lubricant is jetted toward the outer face of the pipe 4 to be pushed from a lubricant supply nozzle 5a for the outer face of the pipe so that a liquid lubricant coating is formed on the outer face of the pipe 4, and a second liquid lubricant is jetted toward the inner face of the pipe 4 to be pushed from a lubricant supply nozzle 5b for the inner face of the pipe and is dried with hot air so that a dry lubricant coating is formed on the inner face of the pipe 4. Then, the pushing process is executed, with the plug 1 inserted into the pipe 4.
