Title:
HIGHLY PRODUCTIVE MECHANISM FOR PRODUCING RECOMBINANT VIRUS BY USING SITE-SPECIFIC RECOMBINATION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2010207231
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a method for preparing a recombinant virus by using a site-specific recombination at the outside of a living body.

This method for performing the site-specific recombination includes: digesting a ring-formed virus genome DNA by a restriction enzyme to form a linear virus genome DNA which is adjacent to the site-specific recombinant site, and performing the site-specific recombination by using a desired genome material which is adjacent to the site-specific recombination site at the outside of the living body. Since the mixture obtained by performing the site-specific recombination can be applied to a host without having a further process such as the selection of a desired recombinant virus genome DNA, it is possible to obtain many recombinant viruses at the same time more quickly.
