PURPOSE: To suppress return to the unstretched state, prevent lowering of mechanical strength and strengthen plactics highly, by heat-treating, crosslinking or applying thermosetting resin adhesive and hardening it at the stressed state after stretching and orientating plastics.
CONSTITUTION: The plastics 1 like a rod, fiber or film is fed from a feeding device 2, passed through a heat-treatment apparatus, an electron beam crosslinking apparatus or the thermosetting resin application and hardening apparatus 4 and taken off by the take-off unit 5 and wound up by a wind-up unit 6. Also, the take-off speed is made faster than the feeding speed, so the plastics 1 is heat-stretched, being passed through the heating apparatus 3 at the stressed state.
