Abstract:
The present invention relates to a die-castable highly thermally-conductive magnesium alloy and a production method therefor. The die-castable highly thermally-conductive magnesium alloy is 3.1–5.0 wt% La, 1.5–3.0 wt% Al, 0.1–0.5 wt% Zn, and 0.1–0.5 wt% Mn, the remainder being Mg and unavoidable impurity elements, the mass ratio of the Al content and the La content being 1:1.4–1:2.5. At 25°C, the die-castable highly thermally-conductive magnesium alloy has a thermal conductivity of over 105 W/(m·k), a yield strength of over 128 MPa, a tensile strength of over 220 MPa, and an elongation percentage of over 6% and is suitable for die-casting housings, such as for communication equipment and automobile components, that have high heat dissipation requirements.
