Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a highly water absorbing cloth capable of preventing oozing out of water content to the surface while carrying out rapid water absorption of water content from human skin and transfer of water content to its middle part for retention of water and improved in touch to skin.
CONSTITUTION: Water absorbing cloth is constituted into a fabric having a three layer structure by using spun yarn 11 containing a short fiber having fine pores on the surface and in the interior as a water absorbing layer 10, a ultrafine fiber having ≥0.3 denier single yarn fineness of a spun yarn 11 as a water retaining layer 29, knotting a yarn of the water absorption layer 10 to a yarn of hydrophobic layer 30 and using a non-hydrophobic false twist yarn 31 having ≥ 1 denier single yarn fineness as a hydrophobic layer 30.
